What are Dust Mites?
Dust mites are microscopic creatures that live by the millions in the pillows, mattress, sheets and covers of your bed. The bed provides them with the warmth, humidity and food they need for ideal growth and reproduction. It is the allergens produced by the mites, in the form of waste particles, to which allergic people react. It is these particles, when inhaled, that have been shown to induce allergic reactions, aggravate asthma and exacerbate the symptoms of child eczema.
Unfortunately, no matter how often you clean your bed linens, it is virtually impossible to fully eliminate all dust mites.
