The DUX® Bed’s innovative design is comprised of customizable components. Our top pad is not fastened to the bed, the top of the mattress unzips to allow access to the spring components, Pascal® cassette system and natural latex layers, and the dual spring bases operate independently of each other. Not only do these innovations address the needs of different body types and requirements for comfort, but they can also accommodate one's changing needs over time due to pregnancy, injury or aging.

Our components are replaceable, and some even upgradable. They can not only be swapped out due to damage, spills or wear, but may also be improved with the release of new accessories and technological innovations. The DUX Bed uses only the highest-grade materials, all chosen for their performance characteristics. We specify the finest steel wire from Sweden’s world-renowned steel industry to manufacture our own springs. The bed base is constructed using wood harvested from Northern Sweden, where bitter cold winters produce slow growth pine that is unmatched in strength. Our beds are covered in a high-quality cotton ticking for exceptional comfort. And our top-pads are made of a natural hevea latex blend, the best surface we have found to prolong the life of the bed while adding to its supportive qualitites. The result is a bed renowned for its quality, comfort and durability.

SLOW GROWTH SWEDISH PINE

The wood used to construct our bed frame grows in the Northern most part of Sweden. The extremely harsh winters produce trees that grow very slowly – evidenced by the tightly spaced growth rings – making it one of the strongest pines in the world.

This pine is used to create the foundation of every DUX bed. The result is a base that is constructed like a piece of furniture. Each individual component of The DUX Bed is built to last.

HIGH TENSILE SWEDISH STEEL

The finest Swedish steel is the backbone of every DUX bed. Over 1 km of steel wire are used to create the continuous-coil design of a king-size DUX Bed's spring system. This unique design coupled with the strongest Swedish steel allows us to make one of the smallest, thinnest and most dynamic springs on the market.

COMFORT AND DURABILITY

Our beds are covered in high thread-count cotton. Not only because of its softness but because higher thread counts yield a stronger fabric. The result is a ticking that is not only extremely soft but exceptionally durable.

HEVEA LATEX BLEND

The latex used in the DUX Bed is a natural product harvested from the hevea or "rubber" tree. The latex in our top pads improves longevity and provides contouring support along every inch of your body.

When consumers want to know a product is natural and good for the environment while also looking for a product that will help them sleep better - blended latex is the answer. By combining Natural Latex and Synthetic Latex together you get the best of both worlds. Natural components, elasticity, conformity, health benefits and luxurious feel from Natural Latex combine with extended durability from Synthetic Latex - to make a product that the Earth provided and we perfected.

Blended latex can be compared to a gold wedding band. No one has a 24 karat (100% gold) wedding band because it would be too soft and bend if gripped too hard. The solution is an 18 karat gold ring where the gold is mixed with another, more durable metal. The result is a ring that has the look and feel of pure gold but is less vulnerable to damage or wear.

A DUX bed actually breathes. It continuously generates air flow as it reshapes itself with your movements. This air stream serves several critical functions: It can shuttle body heat out of the mattress, eliminates odors, and produce ventilation necessary to combat bacteria and fungus.
