The DUX Pascal® Customizable Component System

DECEMBER 5, 2014

At DUX, we can appreciate the subtle differences in human bodies. We all need something unique to feel totally comfortable and it can make buying a quality bed an unpleasant ordeal. We believe that it needn’t be so unpleasant, so we’ve created the Pascal® Personal Comfort Zone System to customize your bed to your unique body type.

Blaise Pascal was a genius contributor to physics and mathematics in the 1600s and we’ve appropriated his name specifically to highlight his contributions to our understanding of pressure to give you a higher quality bed. The body is not a uniform shape. It’s contours need special attention specific to them.

The Pascal customizable component system

The Pascal® Personal Comfort Zone System divides the bed into six regions. Each region has a spring cassette and the configuration of these cassettes is interchangeable. There are three different densities and tensions to the six cassettes: two soft, two medium and two firm.

Where you position each of these is entirely up to you. Play with them until you find the perfect setting for your shoulders, lower back and legs. Anytime you’d like to change it, you need only to unzip the top of the bed, remove and reposition the Pascal® Comfort Zones.

When you’ve found the right configuration for your Pascal® Personal Comfort Zones, your body is very happy! Cater to the needs of the different parts of your body with different levels of firmness, and enjoy a deeper sleep on your DUX bed.
